Specializing in researching, generating, funding, and developing new business ideas, Tamkin operates on a unique, Sharia-compliant business model that provides the necessary funding, teams, and resources to optimize these ideas for mass appeal. Our twofold vision is to inspire the Ummah to build a true Islamic economy and to contribute to the upcoming human civilizational transformation by empowering individuals in Islamic societies. Embarking on an ambitious mission, Tamkin aims to launch 99 pioneer startups in Afghanistan within the next five years. Job Summary:
The Purpose of the Marketing Manager is to be the catalyst for brand growth and recognition for Tamkin and its portfolio startups. This role is pivotal in creating and executing innovative marketing strategies that not only elevate Tamkin's brand but also drive investment and public engagement, embodying our core values of innovation and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in establishing Tamkin as a recognizable brand in both local and international markets. This comprehensive role involves shaping Tamkin's presence in Afghanistan and globally, as well as continuously promoting startups within Tamkin's portfolio. Responsibilities include crafting marketing strategies, overseeing diverse advertising campaigns, engaging potential investors and startup buyers, and leading public awareness and mobilization efforts aligned with Tamkin's core values. Strong qualifications in marketing and a proven track record in the field are essential.
Key Roles:
Develop Marketing Strategy:
●   Craft long-term and short-term marketing strategies that align with Tamkin's vision and business objectives.
●   Simplify and analyze market trends and customer behavior to guide strategy development.
●   Develop a clear and effective branding strategy and content for Tamkin's brand identity.
Oversee Advertising Campaigns:
●   Manage and oversee the execution of advertising campaigns across various channels, ensuring they are aligned with the company's branding and objectives.
●   Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments as needed for optimal results.
●   Build Customized Marketing Strategies for Each Startup:
o   Collaborate with startup teams within the Tamkin portfolio to understand their unique needs, challenges, and goals.
o   Develop and implement tailored marketing initiatives that drive growth and brand recognition for each startup.
Attract Potential Investors and Startup Buyers:
●   Develop and implement initiatives to attract potential investors, including presentations, investor relations activities, and financial modeling.
●   Serve as the initial point of contact for investor communications.
●   Implement strategies to attract potential startup buyers, including targeted promotions, events, and partnerships.
●   Analyze buyer behavior and preferences, as well as investor criteria, to optimize marketing efforts.
Public Awareness and Public Mobilization:
●   Develop and implement strategies to elevate Tamkin's brand and mission through content marketing, influencer partnerships, and targeted social media campaigns.
●   Mobilize public support for Tamkin and its portfolio startups to drive actionable outcomes.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
●   Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and training.
●   Budget Management: Develop a marketing budget, including allocation and tracking of marketing expenditures.
●   Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate marketing performance and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
Personal Traits:
●   Natural Leader: Should exhibit leadership qualities and can guide a team effectively.
●   Front Guy: Will be the face of the company, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
●   Bachelor's degree in Business with a specialization in Marketing.
●   A Master's degree in Marketing is highly desirable.
Skills:
●   Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in using marketing software tools and platforms relevant to the role.
●   Data Analysis: Skills in using data analytics tools to identify trends/narratives, and measure and evaluate marketing campaigns.
●   Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey marketing strategies and results to a diverse audience.
Language Proficiency:
●   Must be proficient in English, Dari, and Pashto to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience:
●   Minimum of 4 years' experience in Marketing, preferably with reputable companies.
●   Experience should demonstrate successful marketing campaigns that have added value to previous employers.
●   Experience outside of Afghanistan is a plus.
