Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Manager, the Finance Coordinator is responsible for smooth finance operations as per AAA financial policy and procedures, review of Daily Recording of all transaction for projects, review and check of expenditures, checking the budget code and making sure that there is budget availability, making sure all the review and approval are in place, ensure recording of inter-agency transactions, cash flow of donor projects and line management of Sub Team within Finance department. 
Job Responsibilities 01: Chart of Accounts and Verification:
* Final working of all transactions Income and Expenditure (Banks, Cash, Partner Income and expenses, Direct project income and expenses)
* Review of transactions, Bank reconciliations, Cash counts,
* Review of transactional documentations and budget availability, and disbursements
* Tracking and follow up local and international remittances.
* Currency Translation and selection of favorable times for treasury management
* Tracking charge-outs, Intercompany balances and probals
* Probal Data entry to GFS SUN.6 system
* Comply donors policies and procedures
* Prepare utilization report on monthly basis for projects.
* Grant management.
Job Responsibilities 02: Accounting data entry verification:
* Reconcile the income and expenditure, entries between AAAf and donors/partners
* GFS SUN.6 system Management
* Tracking Advances, prepayments, accruals and provisions.
* Review of Payroll and subsequent payments
* Staff final settlements.
* Work on budgeting with program team closely.
Job Responsibilities 3: Management Accounts and reporting:
* Compilation of donor report
* Taxation (Tracking, payments, Final Clearance) and Pending Tax issues with support of finance officers
* supervision and coordination of Withholding taxes from suppliers, vendors and staff members with support of the finance officers.
* Issuing of Tax certificates to concerned individuals.
Job Responsibilities 4: Data Management and documentation:
* Cash and Bank account management (request for funds)
* Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts such as debtor and creditor and provision accounts on monthly basis
* Supporting Audits.
* Posting adjustments and prepare workings. 
 
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance Commerce or Business Administration or Financial Management with accounting.
A minimum of 3 years work experience in mainstream finance in a busy and reputable institution preferably in the NGO sector.
* Sound practical knowledge of GFS SUN.6 systems and spreadsheet
* Computer literate and ability to use accounting systems, word processing, spreadsheet, and, e-mail and Internet.
* Auditing awareness
* Asset inventory management
* Payroll processing and management
* Procurement knowledge.
* Financial recording, sorting, and analyzing
